Default Carrots....whats the story...

I have heard mixed things about carrots and amount of carbs......can anyone put me straight...are they OK in sensible amounts.....oh yes and does the same apply for swede ?

They are root veggies and NOT Ok on Induction. OK in limited amount later as you add more carbs. Check out fitday.com or the carb counter link to the right for exact carbs.

It all depends on what your Critical Carb Level is for weight loss, if that's one of your goals in low-carbing.

I don't think there is any harm in a little carrot, rutabaga or turnip here and there. It adds a little variety.

just worried that they're not too high....???

I started last year strictly on the Atkins diet.....it worked initially but proved too difficult for me to keep it up, so now I sort of meet half-way.....and it's going well......

I love mashed carrot and swede with lots of butter...yum-yum !

So wanted to know that they weren't too high....
