Default Travel tips and I need some motivation please?

Hi,

I'm travelling to Nashville tomorrow for work. I bought some hazelnuts which I will pack in a plastic bag. Also bringing some Atkins Advantage bars. There is a breakfast buffet at the hotel - hopefully they still have scrambled eggs - otherwise I'll be ating an Atkins bar. I'm so worried I'm going to screw this up...

Also, this is day 3 of my period - I went to the China buffet yesterday and must have eaten something too salty. The ketostix still registered trace a few hours later so I don't think I blew it too badly.

But my hands are very bloated and rings are tight. I also weigh 231 1/2!!!!! YUCK!!!!!! Time to drink lots of water. I sure hope this is only water weight and I start losing again soon!

Thanks for reading this far!

Breakfas buffets almost always have piles of bacon and scrambled eggs That should be your easiest meal of the day.
For the rest of them - be explicit in your ordering, if it isn't on your plate you won't eat it. Make sure they don't bring you a potatoe with your steak (ask for some high water content veggie instead). Make sure they "hold the croutons" when getting your grilled chicen caesar salad.
With a little planning you will do fine!

Default eating while traveling

Breakfast is the easiest meal of the day, eggs and meat, cant go wrong there. When I order at a restaurant, I keep in mind that I am paying for this so the waiter is my employee. Order exactly what you want and expect them to comply. ie; salad, no croutons. no bread at the table. extra butter for veggies. Also if the meat has a sause on it, have them leave it off or get it on the side.

I also pack snacks to take with me like vienna sausages, small wheels of brie, pecans or macadamias. also , leave the airline food alone. even the nuts are usually coated with a sugar coating.

good luck in your travels and remember, you are the boss.
