Default PCOS, low-carb, and feeling feminine

Hi guys. I am brand new to this forum, but I have had PCOS for several years. I never knew a low-carb diet could be effective at alleviating some of the symptoms of PCOS, but hearing all the success stories from you guys has made me very hopeful.
One thing I feel that is embarrassing to talk about but I suspect is the case with some other women here, is not feeling feminine. I am only 20 but when I look in the mirror at my face and at my body I just feel a total lack of femininity. I have no breasts and my face has taken on a very masculine structure. It is embarrassing and very depressing.
Anyway, I was wondering if those of you with PCOS that have tried a low-carb diet for at least a few months have related to these feelings, but had those feelings lessen any after following the diet. Weird question, I know, but I don't know where else to ask.
By the way it is nice meeting you all and comforting to find others who have PCOS. Thanks for any responses.

PCOS has helped with body hair growth for me. I still have, it of course, but it is far less than what it was. That said, my periods are regular and my body has taken more of a feminine shape now that I have lost weight.

I had to get laser hair removal and I'll be doing that for a while, my tummy, breasts, arms and face... What a horrible thing PCOS is!

I have to say, I've been seriously taking care of myself since starting low carb and there's a huge difference! HUGE!

Once I started the laser hair removal, too, my husband has been very attentive. He never ever said anything but I knew it was a mood squasher!

My face has narrowed considerably and I just feel more girly!

I have the hair on my lower back, breasts, tummy, arms... It used to bother me, until I met another girl who had hair in the same places and I didn't feel so weird. Now, I don't even think about it. The hair actually doesn't bother me at all. Its the weight that bothers me the most but its all slowly coming off, and as long as it comes off, that's all I can be happy about, and I am. Very, very happy. Its like, one day, I'll be able to shop at a place that is usually only for the thinner people. Not that I can't just shop at JCPenney or somewhere like that, but I would love to fit into Aeropostale clothes (which are cut, really really oddly) and Abercrombie. One day I'll treat myself to a shopping spree. That is what I'm really looking forward to. Anyway, I'm rambling.
