Default Nutrional Info for Doritos Edge pleeeeaaassse

Hello. I was out this evening and splurged and went to Subway. Had a wrap and the new Doritos Edge (which were pretty good, by the way). I managed to remember to pick up the nutritional info on the wrap...but forgot to bring the Doritos bag home with me to put in Fitday. Does anyone have these and can give me the nutritional info per serving? I would REALLY appreciate it! Thanks!!!

Hi Freckles,
Could not find the info on Frito Lays website - product still too new I guess. The news release about them listed the Doritos at 6 net carb with 10 grams of protein and 3 fiber. Hope that helps some.

Wow, i've never heard of those yet. They seem great for a low-carb lifestyle! Hopefully ALL food companies follow in the low-carb WOE.

Wel I hate this idea but they did one thing right.

One bag is one serving not serves 2.5 per bag.
So you are not getting double the posteed carbs when you eat the whole damn thing.
They should never be sold in larger bags IMHO

Hey, over the Mothers' Day weekend, I discovered the Tostitos Edge chips and they were great. I bought them at the local WalMart here in Arizona, but when I went back this last weekend to buy more, they were out. And I mean gone.

There was no longer a space for them on the shelves. It was like they never existed.

Anyone know what happen, did Frito-Lay pull them?

Apparently not as they finally appeared at our local Wal-Mart (non-Super Center) today. I haven't tried them yet.

I don't like these. The first bite of the first chip is good, but after that it is crap.

Thumbs up

Well, I tried the Doritos Edge Nacho Cheesier flavor. I'm not overly fond of soy based products, but I actually found this one to be quite palatable. 14 chips to a serving is fairly generous. I had no problem sticking to that portion amount. The taste was bold and salty. The chips do have a slightly gritty texture that I noticed more after I finished eating them. It was sort of a residual effect. Overall, a nice change of pace from pork rinds, when desiring something crunchy. I'll definitely be buying these again!

I'm with you BBQ man................I didn't like them either. First initial bite was okay but after chewing for a few minutes they had a chalking taste, which i didn't much care for. Maybe cause i'm not much into soy based products.

You're right! I assumed they didn't because in the nutritional info they list Trans Fat 0g, but in the ingredients I see "Partially Hydrogenated Soybean and Cottonseed oil". Pretty darn sneaky.

The Tostitos Edge do not have the transfats if you still want something crunchy. I use them to make nachos - yummy. You can tell that it is soy, not as hard and crispy but still good.
