Default Hello

I just posted an introduction on the introduction board, but since I'm following Atkins, I thought I'd say hello here too.

Anyway, I've re-started on 02/14/04 and am 15 pounds down so far and am in a rut, or stall. I want to be 130ish by June. Unrealistic, huh?

Anyway, hello all, I hope to make some friends here and I plan on soaking up all the support, and giving a lot too, when the opportunity arrises.

The % under your name shows how much you've progressed. Right now you have lost 33% of the weight you need to.

You probably aren't in a stall. A Stall is 4-6 weeks with no weight loss or inches lost. Almost everyone slows down in the third week as your body catches it's breath, then weight loss resumes at a slower weight. You say you restarted, how long did you go before and how much did you lose? Each time you restart it can be slower as well.

Welcome!

Congrats on your loss so far. Keep going - it's much too soon to think you're in a stall (have you been losing weight every week?).

Good Luck!

Rocky

Hi ngl,

Congrats on your weight loss so far, that's wonderful. Don't get discouraged, there are lot's of plateau's on the way to fitness. They do end and you will start losing again if you just stick with it.

I've done it once before, lost 35 pounds quickly, then I hit a real stall (over 4 weeks). I eventually gave up. But I won't do that this time, no way. I just can't believe I was dumb enough to put all that weight back on.

Thank you for all the replies. That's why I joined up here and it helps alot.

BTW!!!!! The "stall" is over. I was down 2.5 more pounds this morning.
