I love to detail cars. In fact, it's my part-time weekend business.

I like to make them look like new again. And in the winter, I do it in my garage.

Last November 1, it was an "Indian Summer-like" day and I was outside detailing a customer car without my shirt on.

My lovely wife, Pam, just took a couple of pic's on the digital camera, as she is accustomed to doing.

WHEN I SAW THOSE PICTURES, I WENT BALLISTIC!!! I couldn't believe how out of control I had gotten!

I talked to my brother, who had recently lost 30 pounds. Started on Atkins, switched to South Beach.

I had to do something.........."one of the best decisions of my life!!!"

This spring, when I start detailing outside again, they will see a new, slim guy out there in the driveway.
