Default "Just the Cheese"

Has anyone tried these? I am past induction and pleased with this WOE. I haven't used any lo carb type products except for the Russell Stover's candies and DaVinci syrups, but the "Just the Cheese" chips are tempting. I drove to a neighboring town to shop because I saw them advertised, but when I got here, they did not have them. I can order them online. If I buy 10 (2 0z bags) they are not any more expensive than buying them in the store, but I would like to hear from someone who has tried them before I order. ~smile~ I am cheap.

I think these would be great to take to work.

thanks all

carole

They're okay. A little heavy and salty for my taste. You might want to run a search in teh "LC Products" section for plenty more opinions.

If you go to the LC Products forum and do a search for Just the Cheese, there is a thread on it. Sorry I don't know how to put the site in my post.

I only eat the low-salt ones. The others, especially the ranch, are too salty for me. The low salt ones are perfect.

I agree with those who have mentioned the too salty problem. And they are expensive. Why not just fry (or nuke) some grated cheese at home? Lots fresher....

I've tried them and was not impressed. I wouldn't buy them again.

I work away from home (48 hour shifts) and I was looking for something new to take to work. I think the low salt ones sound great.

I have cooked and eaten pretty healthy on this program, made it through the holidays with minimum angst, and I want to give myself a treat. ~smile~

don't pay any attention to my stats. I haven't weighed in over 10 years but the system made me put in something. I know I am doing well because when I lay on my back, I can see my feet ;-P

I eat them as an occasional snack - yummy - and they were a lifesaver when I was on jury duty and the available snacks were doughnuts and candy bars.

(We were deadlocked 3-3 for quite some time. Eventually, we found him not guilty.)

BTW, I found them at my local Walgreen's and they weren't too expensive. You might give it a peek...

I've only tried the White Cheddar ones, didn't notice if they were Low Sodium or not, but I really like them. The bags are for 2 servings and 1 is just enough for me.

I love the white cheddar ones-they are handy to bring to work. I think I love them so much because they are very salty!

Thanks everyone.

I sent my order this morning. I ordered 10 bags which made them cost less than the advertised store price (advertised, but not in stock) even with S&H.

I will let you all know what I think when they arrive.

Love Just the Cheese but high in sodium - makes me retain water. 2 servings per bag but never can just stick to one serving...so I eat the bag at a time. And expensive.
