Unhappy bored but determined

I have just entered into my third week of the Atkins plan. I am getting bored and frustrated and starting to wondering if the low carb approach is for me. I have always been a big bread and sweet addict, but at the cost of my waistline which disappeared 10 years and four kids ago! I am ready to take control of my body again. I was in great shape as a teen, and I want that feeling back. I want to play ball in the front yard with my kids without worrying about who is going to see me. I spend all my time taking care of my family. It's hard for me to find time to exercise and plan meals ahead. I am determined to find the time somehow! I get bored very easy. I need some suggestions for meals for induction. I am trying my best to hold on. I know several people who have had great success whith the low carb plan. I am praying that it works for me too!

<<It's hard for me to find time to exercise and plan meals ahead. >>

Welcome and good luck with your plan. Finding time for YOURSELF is hard with kids but you can do it if you make it a priority. I have been very successful on Atkins with feeding kids at the same time. I fix a mean/fish/protein and a vegetable at every meal. I just add a rice, potato or pasta as a side dish for them and don't eat it myself. I am no longer tempted AT ALL. The Atkins way has eliminated all those cravings.

If you can stick with it, the results are well worth it.
