Default Lets all go back a ways :) Post your daily menu BEFORE you found atkins!

I think this should be fun Everyone post what an average daily menu was for you before you started atkins. I will get the ball rolling with my extremely embarrassing former way of living. In retrospect though, all it does is make me prouder of the changes i've made!

Breakfast
-------------
Lucky Charms Cereal (damn leprachaun) w/ skim milk
4 pieces white toast w/ low-fat margerine
Orange juice or Pepsi

Lunch
-------------
French Fries w/ gravy
Pizza Pop
Can of mountain dew
Small bag of doritos

Snack
-------------
Whole box of macaroni w/ cheese

Dinner
-------------
Mcdonalds Crispy Chicken Meal w/ Supersize frize / Coke

or

Two small pizzas from dominoes / meat lovers

Snack
-------------
Big bag of doritos (I would finish at least one bag a day, sometimes I would eat two)
Slurpee from 7-eleven

EEEEEEESHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! Just talking about this brings back old, BAD, memories. Sometimes I would get Mrs. Vickies chips too.... oh my how those were good. Some days I would also eat mcdonalds twice, or else go there and get two extra value meals. Looking back now, it's no wonder my body was so messed up. It's funny how I used skim milk and low fat margerine also. Like it actually made a difference!

Ok ok now everyone elses turn....

Love it, here goes:
1 bagel with margarine, cup of coffee
lunch - muffin, some cookies, sometimes - mcdonalds hb or fish sandwich
afternoon snack - chocolate candy
dinner - ziti, spaghetti, italian bread
evening snack - icecream

Didn't miss this stuff until I started thinking about it. I would sometimes go most of a day without any protien, all I ate were carbs

Before I started the diet, I was working weekend double shifts, going to school full time and a single mom of two young boys. I had very little time for cooking, and lived off 3-4 mountain dew/day.

Breakfasts (when I ate it) consisted of:
McD's fruit and yogurt parfaits, sugar cereals with fat-free milk, or peanut M&Ms and mountain dew at work. Cherry Toaster strudles were my favorite.

Lunches:
Pizza, grilled sandwiches, fast food burgers and restaurant fare-mexican, chinese and pasta.

Dinner:
Same as lunch-but even more likely to be eaten out. I cooked as low-fat as possible with meat as a flavoring rather than main course.

I was also a huge dessert muncher. I grazed all day on homemade cakes and cookies - goodies never lasted more than a few days.

omg fruity pebbles I loved those!!!!!! They stopped making them in Canada though and I couldn't find them. I had to revert to coca puffs and lucky charms

I still have a box of fruity pebbles in my closet should I decide to have a carb blow out day. They are my favorite too! Applejacks and fruitloops were close seconds.

Cool

I love this......we are sooooo bad

Breakfast: No fat, high sugar cereal and skim milk, of course

Lunch: Sandwich or salad

Dinner: Lotsa pasta with fish, meat, veggies....when we were trying to be "good and healthy", just lotsa pasta and no protein!! Lotsa bread, no butter of course. And lotsa fruit, watermelon especially. Well, it's mostly water, isn't it???????

Snacks: crackers, fruit, baked chips, twizzlers, mike n ike, skittles, popcorn

Weird thing is...I don't have the cravings I thought I would for pasta. I do get cravings for ice cream, but tammy39 helped me solve that. THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Oh-I almost forgot! I smothered foods in margarine, cooked in margarine and shortening because I wanted to avoid butter-it's so unhealthy!
