Thumbs up Pcos Linked To Depression

Hello....I just came across a site that links PCOS to depression....

http://news-service.stanford.edu/ne...une11/pcos.html

Also...here are some discussions on the subject....

http://forums.obgyn.net/pcos/PCOS.0101/0560.html

Hope someone finds it as useful and I do...

Thanks for the links!

I was diagnosed as bipolar when I was teenager (imagine that! a moody teenager... lol), but none of the medicines ever helped... they just made things worse. I think the doctors didn't know what they were talking about, although I probably did/possibly do have depression.

But, a lot of my "moodiness" would come when my PCOS symptoms were at their worst... (bleeding for three months straight could make anybody depressed and moody, I think).

I get so frustrated at doctors sometimes...
