Hello.

I have neen on the low carb for 6 weeks and although losing weight and liking the diet my CFS, arthritic, headaches, fog, tendonitis are the same. These conditions have plagued me for 13 years and I have tried everything in the book, except low carb diet.

I'm the same. Tried everything over the last 17 years!! I've been lowcarbing seriously since Xmas and loosely for a couple of years but very little change. Can't bear the thought that I'll be like this for the rest of my life.

My husband has CFIDS and he did not see fast results. However, since November, he's lost fifteen pounds, reduced his blood pressure, and does seem to bounce back from illness faster.

My mother has fibro, and she did not get fast results. However, after almost a year of low carbing, her fibro is in remission (knock wood!) and she's back to a full time job.

I hope you will keep trying and see if things do improve.

Default low carbing

Been low carbing here since last June.. but since being sick in November. I have gained a few lbs but not posted it.. I think it was because of adding the low carb ice cream .. plus when i was sick. wasnt able to walk very good .. just havent been able to get exercise in..

but to low carbing.. the brain fog isnt as bad with not eating the bread... potatoes and white sugar.. Its helped the mental part..
Pain wise.. It did help for a while but then this winter it got bad again...
It is very depressing and gives one alot of anxiety with all the symptoms of this stuff..
I just wish it would go away..
i find myself when its so bad to just go to bed and cry and want to pull the covers over my head.. until I feel better.... wich isnt very realistic..
