I allow myself a cheat meal (1 per week) if i really am having a problem with cravings etc. It has kept me on track and i'm continuing to shrink. I'm not weighing myself so i don't know if i've lost weight but my clothes are definitely smaller. I've been LCing seriously for only 3.5 weeks but it seems to be doing the trick for me....

I can't do the day off cheat thing myself....when I have had just a tiny bit of something high carb...i get puffy...and my head hurts...so, it's not worth if for me to go off for a day or a meal even. Plus, my dad started doing Atkins when he found out I was doing it, only thing is, he decided to give himself a cheat day. The problem is, his cheat day turned into 2 and 3 cheat days, and now, I don't think he even truly follows the low carbing way of life at all. For me, to cheat horribly would probably make me fall of the LC wagon, and I really don't want to do that.

Default Hang in there!!

Hang in there you'll start losing again!! Just have to give your body time to adjust to your new weight and then the scale will move!!

I do cheat occasionally, like a couple Saturdays back, pizza and beer with friends

BUT I don't recommend it, it's too hard to go back to LC, at least for me, and for you, mgood, it's way too early in Induction/OWL to think about going off

if you want to see the scale move (lower of course) try going back into Induction, less than 15 grams of carbs a day

when I first went LC I stayed in Induction for 7 months, lost 22 lbs.
