Moving to Bakersfield CA ... need help!

My husband is possibly (more than likely) getting transferred to Wasco, and we need an apartment up near there but we don't know the area at all. If ANYONE lives out in Bakersfield, Taft, Wasco, Delano ... anywhere in that region, I would love some help trying to find a good neighborhood and a good apartment complex. Thank you sooo much if you can help!
