Default Lipolysis testing strips

I woud like to purchase lipolysis testing strips in Montreal. Atkins says to buy them under the brand name of Lipostix. Lipostix does not seem to be available here. Any suggestions?

The strips are availabe on the website www.atkinscenter.com for $7.49 US dollars. Go to the store and look under the "getting started" products.

Congratulations on your new way of eating!!

Much success!!!

hi robb66,

Bayer's Ketostix, which you can find at most pharmacies in Canada, are exactly the same thing as Lipostix. Both sticks have a little pad on the end impregnated with nitroprusside, a chemical which changes colour in the presence of ketones.

You should find them where the diabetic supplies are ... but don't be surprised if they're kept behind the counter. Apparently they're hot "shoplift" items
