Hi Mary Ann T!
One thing you'll see repeated over and over again on this forum is that low-carbing is a way of life. What I'm going to tell you is out of concern for your well-being, now and into the future.
Unless you are using Stillman to drop weight quickly because of surgery or another immediate health concern, it's not sustainable as a way of life.
We like to encourage people to learn how to low-carb, and as they go along, they find out ways to make it work for them for a life time.
One of the dangers of Stillman is that it is very low in calories. Because of this, your metabolism slows down and hangs on to fat because your body thinks that you are starving.
There are many yo-yo dieters on this forum who have been on many diets, most of them low-fat or calorie restricted and when they come to low-carbing, it takes a while for their body to trust them again because they have yo-yo'ed all over the place. Then, they think low-carbing doesn't work and give up in disgust.
Stillman can be used for low-carbers to break a stall, but it can't be used as a "diet" to lose weight and then to go back to your regular eating habits because you will gain the weight back.
A program like Protein Power or Atkins teaches you how to make permanent changes that will give you a lifetime of health and well-being.
Please consider it.
