Default Lipolysis Testing Strips

Ok, I need to know if you can buy the testing strips over the counter or have to go to Doc. to get them? And what store are they at? And are they $$$$$$?

You should be able to get some at a drugstore. Check out the diabetic section. I am not sure of the price-but I think they are kind of expensive. You can always cut them in half and get twice the amount.

hi there,

You can buy them at most pharmacies ... including Walmart. Look in the section where they have diabetic supplies. If you don't see them stocked on the shelf, it may be that they're kept behind the counter (apparently they're a hot "shoplift" item ). Just ask at the pharmacy counter; you do NOT need a prescription to buy them.

As for $$, there's definitely a range of prices from reasonable to ridiculous! Some members have reported that the lipolysis strips stocked with the diet supplies and special Atkins stuff are WAY overpriced, while the same product stocked with the diabetic supplies is generally cheaper. You might try phoning around first to see who has the cheaper price, but I'd say Walmart is "probably" your best bet.

I've checked prices a few places, it seems you can normally get a package of 100 for about $10. I live in a pretty pricey area, so if you see them for more than that I'd keep looking!

Thanks!....... I went to Wal-Mart and got some LTS strips. They where like 12 bucks for 25 not to bad I guess. It was worth it cause when I saw the stick dark purple. It made me feel like I am not just doing this for nothing! Thanks again! ;-)

You might want to go back to Walmart when you need more lipostix and check with the pharmacist. I got a box of 100 from behind the pharmacy desk for$12. I saw the ones on the shelf by the Atkins products that were $12 for 25. It's worth asking the pharmacist. He said they had to order the bigger boxes and didn't always keep them in stock...
