friday: day off, was just too tired to do anything.
saturday: 10 min. various upperbody with 7lb free weights. 5 min ab work and 5k on my bike. I forgot to look at the clock before I left so no idea how long I was gone. Max 30 min. Min. 20 min. heart rate 136 when I came in the door, but I could still walk unaided, so I'm in better shape than I thought!

Hello lovely,

So we're sisters in TOMdom now? Excellent- maybe we can conjure up some serious juju to get rid of the remaining fat. I managed my usual today - no period pain but bleeding like a stuck pig. TMI sorry sorry.

Keep on keeping on Mrs Bendy.

UBW, abs and deep thigh stretching 40 min.

I'll list what I do when it's not so embarrassingly small!!

I just did the most fun squats in my life!! I used my squeeling 23 lb grandson (7 mo) as my weight. Lifted him from floor to overhead for 10 reps. He was laughing his head off!! My knees are jello. Did I mention I'm new doing this? I figure he's a good weight, slowly increasing in size for more resistance as I get stronger and he's still pretty compact. My 3 yo granddaughter (35lb) likes to be used for bicep curls like a bar.

More Sat: swimming for an hour with the kids. More pool noodle fun!

Sun: day off. Well, I raked the front yard and pruned hedges for an hour. As hot as it was that could count for cardio!

Mon: 5k walk/jog (hence forth known as w/j) more w than j. I do interval with 4 sections of jogging. I got through the first 2 j's, by then I was drained. I did walk the rest. Checked the Weather Channel when I got back. Humidex is already 93º. time 44 minutes.

Default UBW/abs

I use 10 lb barbells with plates for everything with weights:

push-up on knees: 10

chest press (on floor): 20 reps

front barbell raise: 10 reps each side

kick backs: 15 reps each side

one-arm bent over row: 15 reps each side

hammer curl: 15 reps

one-arm concentration curl: 15 reps each side

overhead tricep extensions: 15 reps

25 curls w/ab roller (helps releave stress on neck and hold form)

don't have time for more, got late start, but it's raining (flood warnings now, and I'll probably end up bored and do some yoga or more ab work later)

Heh heh I'm sure the NSPCC would have something to say about using infants as workout equipment great idea Might try a cat though I can imagine serious lacerations as a result.

How do you judge distance when you workout inside?

It says on the video. That's her USP (unique selling point- sorry sales speak there) you do the workouts and add up how many miles you coevr. The hour one is 3 20 min sessions with different participants of 1 mile, 1.5 and 1.5 so I just do the lot. The 45 min one says on the box its equivalent to 4 miles though she doesn't mention that- just rattles on about it being fat burning as it's "extended" There's another one I want to get but looks like I'll have to order it from the US as it's not on UK Amazon

Have a in support of this weeks activities.

Wow I'd like to be able to do those. One day- a very long way away.

Working out in the heat as I have no option- am terrified of losing momentum with the weight loss/toning if I wait for more suitable weather. Addicted? Probably
