Default Always up on scale the day after weights. Why?

Think the title explains itself there . I don't eat a high carb diet. In fact I am now between 25-30 carbs daily. Can anyone explain this curious phenomenon to me please.........

Water retention for muscle repair. It happens to everybody. Eventually it will drop off on a rest day. I am going through it today because I attempted pullups yesterday - ouch.

Janine is right. It's normal, desirable even, as it means you've worked hard and your muscles are repairing (building).

Hey, I opened a thread similar to this on the high-intensity forums. Yeah, its pretty much what they said, water retention. (You SHOULD be drinking alot of water, anyway)

As long as your pants aren't getting any tighter, you're good!

Bike riding used to add about a pound to each leg when I first started again after an ankle injury. I believe bb's call it pump? Kettlebels did it too when I started using those-- I don't regret it though and my lower back is stronger now.
