Default Never thought about loggin our walking times...

Sammi - This challenge originally started as loss only but I think logging our walking times (easier than miles/km) would be a great addition.

Jude - Personally I'm going to set myself a goal for the May 2-4 weekend and aim towards that.

What about everyone else?

Tiff

Default Bikini or Bust!

24th of May is looming large - I'm in if it's okay!

Current Weight: 124.5

Goal Weight: 118

Exercise: Just finished week 1 of "8 minutes in the Morning", and I can confirm aches and pains in places I didn't know I had muscles! Results are guaranteed in 28 days, but yowza! This seems like a result to me! LOL.

Adding cardio back in this week if I can!

Thanks for the goal!

Amie

Smile It's Friday!

HI ALL!
I'm a Markhamite, just a little north of you. Not so interested in walking as I go to the gym 3-4 times a week and work on the week-ends but I am interested in the competitive spirit.

I just realized it is Friday so I guess I'll be the first to post my number this week.

I started at 183 at the beginning of February and today (drumroll) I am at 171. My goal for May 24 week-end is 165 (I leave for a beach vacation on May 16).

This is a great idea. Thanks.

Laurie

Hi everyone

Time to post. Tom (my husband) is starting at 263.5. His goal is 250 by May 24 weekend.

I (Nancy) am starting at 159 and looking to be 150 by May 24th. This will be a challenge because I have a few plateaus in there that I know will be hard to get over. I hung at 155 last time I tried to lose for a long time. Hopefully this challenge and encouragement will get me through.

We have two dinners to go to this weekend so it is going to be hard to get through till Monday.

Nice to see you join us sammi. We are finally catching up with the good weather here so we should be able to get out walking. Golfing would even be more fun. Does anyone golf? I am just getting out of the executive small courses. Not really good enough yet this year to play a full course. I hope to make it a goal also. We don't use carts so it is a good work out.

Hi Everyone,

Ok, I'm starting today at 159.....hoping to get down to 150 by May 24. (Haven't seen that # in years--if I make it, I'll be one happy camper. Has anyone thought about a reward for themselves when (not if) you make goal?

Mavnan, your question about golf, this will be my first year, my new job is at a golf course, and 1 of the benifits is a season pass to the course, have never played so it'll be a somthing new for me to do this summer

I just realized May 19th is Victoria Day...but...
we'll still keep the last weigh in on Friday, May 23rd!

Holiday is early this year.

Everyone hanging in there? I had a wicked chocolate craving around 2:00 today. I started working on something and the craving subsided. That's my trick. Do something that takes your mind off the craving. It works.

So far, hanging in just fine, Riddler.

Just wondering, I've noticed posts from time to time saying that if we eat fruit, it's better in the morning rather than at night. Does anyone know why? Strawberries w/cream has become my nightly snack.

Default Oh Well

It's been a tough week for me...that's OK though, I'm having one finally carb indulgence - Korma curry with basmati rice for dinner, it smells soooo good cooking right now - before getting up an dusting myself of.

Went home for the weekend and ate my way through Sat. & Sun. Oh well, walked 10 K tonight, plan on the same tomorrow & Wednesday.
