Thumbs up Atkins Endulge Ice Cream

I found this today at my local health food store and it is the best!!! It's $4.89 for 4 individual servings, and well worth it. It comes in vanilla and chocolate. Put some Steel's hot fudge sauce and spanish peanuts on the vanilla and it's heaven. I called Atkin's Direct and she said they don't sell it on the website, but if your store can get it, it's fabulous.

That sounds like a great treat for after induction. If you're still using the word "crave" you haven't used induction to it's fullest potential...to get over craving, needing etc. certain foods, i.e. to break that carb addiction....hate to sound like a sour puss, but Dr. A really does have a method .

Both flavors are 4 carbs for a 4 ounce serving, and come in a box of 4 individual cups.

I tried the chocolate, I particulary didn't like it - way too hard, I like ice cream soft.

I saw it a the health food store too. Is it as good as the LeCarb icecream? I like the idea that it is in individual servings. Helps with portion control.

I bought both the chocolate and vanilla flavors tonight at Jewel (Albertson's local chain). I tried one of the vanilla cups and it was wonderful. I love LeCarb, but this had more of an ice cream texture and taste. The ECC also works out to be close to LeCarb's count also. I'll probably keep buying LeCarb as it's quite a bit cheaper than the Endulge ice cream, but it's a nice treat every now and then!

BTW- I let the cup sit out for a few minutes and it softened up quite nicely.

Oh, this ice cream is divine. I love the Vanilla flavor. I like my ice cream soft also, so I microwave mine for about 12 seconds before I eat it. Perfect!

I looked at the LeCarb...but I believe if I read it correctly that the carbs, even though low, all came from "sugars."

Cool Le Carb

I found Le Carb ice cream at a Wal-Mart in Grafton, WV, and have bought it several times--and found it delicious. But when I visited on Saturday the shelves were cleaned out, so apparently they have stopped stocking it.
Does anyone know if they have a web site, or are other Wal-Marts stocking it? It's so good, I must have some!

Is low-carb ice cream at all the wal-marts or just in the super wal-marts? I go in so seldom I don't even know if the wal-marts around here have any freezer cases...

Thanks

I loooove LeCarb, but unfortunately my silly Super Wal*Mart hasn't had it in over 3 weeks. They shifted things around for a HUGE Blue Bunny display and that was it. They have GOBS of the icky Slim Fast, Healthy Choice and Weight Watchers frozen carbage, but no Le Carb.

Maybe I'll just have to give them a call. I just don't understand it- they always sold out of the stuff. grrr....

I guess the Atkins ice cream will have to do. It's really good, but it's $5 for 4 servings.
