I'd be happy to offer up my coffee shop for a location. We have inside and outside seating, limited, but i dont know how many people would show up. I could support up to maybe 25 people? We also have some low carb food drinks and some food available for those looking to try something out. Im always happy to hear any constructive criticizm!

just thought I'd toss it out there!

Tony

Talking Hey Gang!

How's everyone doing out there??? I actually just returned to the bay area, I'm in Hayward now and would love to connect with some local LC'ers!!! I REALLY need the support b/c with all the great ethnic foods that are at arms reach in the bay I am having a bit of trouble maintaining!!! And also, I think that it would be neat to meet folks that understand the LC lifestyle.

although I'm not able to make it out this weekend, I absolutely LOVE the idea of meeting in your coffeeshop and sampling some of your goodies!! How FUN!

So, I'll be checking in on you all to see what's going on!

Peace and Balance,
Tesia

Default I'm in Davis, CA

There is a Trader Joes in Sac, and also an Elliots Natural Foods which both have a decent selection for low carbers. I'm not sure on the addresses, I'll get back to you on that. There are also several co-ops in the Sac area, and at least the one by me has some good low carb stuff - including for vegetarians. Just out of curiosity, any vegetarian low carbers near me?

Thumbs up

Buggblue, I am in Davis, too. I have been doing Atkins for two months, and lost 15 lbs. I don't have too many more to lose, luckily. I ate lunch at Max's-Arden Fair today with DH. They have a low-carb menu--its great! I get my Advantage bars at Elliot's--best prices I have found yet. Another great place to eat is the Great Wall Mongolian Barbecue in Sac.

hey katyDee

we should totally try to get together. ii'm sort of on my own plan, i'm a vegetarian which limits what i can eat. but i spose i'm pretty ignorant on how this works. i lost 5 then gained 3. i''m a bit derpressed about it. it doesnt help that my sister (who i live with) has been baking xmas cookies nonstop for the last 2 weeks. anyways i'll try and email you. catchya later.
