I am so glad to see all of us doing so well. I weigh myself today and I am 151 lbs. So this water retention is going down finally. I had only 4 carbs yestersday. I drank 128 oz of water, 2 cups of coffee and 2 cup of decaffinated tea. I fix a large roast in the slow cooker and couldn't quit eating meat. Yes, you can deduct the fiber grams from your carb counts. Pretty much all the plan authors now agree on that point. I do believe it is useful to complete an Atkins induction period before implementing this practice, however, and as with anything, YMMV (Your mileage may vary).

Tonya and Princesspp, I am glad I can have coffee too. It really help me get the day started right. I drink mine black but if I have dessert I use DeVinc's syrup and creamer and I could drink a pot full .
