I have been on this journey since May 18th, 2015 and as of today im 100 pounds down. I still have about 40 pounds that i want to lose but I can't believe I got here. I'm excited to see what life will be like after goal.
Amberlina. You have come a loooong way, a 100 pounds in less than seven months. I re-read your first post to see your journey and almost cried with happiness for you. You are one very determined person who set out to change your life...and you have done that and more. Sometimes without family support.
You don't need to wait to see what life will be like after goal as surely now you already exude the confidence that comes from knowing how strong and successful you are. Confident that you will reach your goal and keep the weight off for good with the diet that is healthiest for you.
Plan: My own - < 30 net carbs
Stats: 440/228/210
BF:Energy Unleashed
Progress: 92%
Location: Central Virginia - USA
Now that is getting the job done. That is truly impressive progress and in less that 7 months! Amazing stuff. I wish you the best as you endeavor to take off that last 40 -- which shouldn't take long the way you are going.
I know this is a celebration thread, but if I would suggest that you start thinking hard about your maintenance plan as you get closer to goal. When I was in my 20's -- the one and only time I ever reached my goal weight -- I did not "get" the concept of maintenance and making permanent changes to my diet to keep the weight off. That oversight didn't work out too well.
