Mine went away also, almost right away. Only have to take an occasional zantac now.

I cured my low stomach acid by taking Betaine HCL with meals. It "trains" the digestive system to ramp up its own stomach acids -- if that was the problem.

I still take it with my morning smoothie, because it's such a concentrated dose of protein. And the smoothie does wonders for resetting my messed up system (I'm doing Dr Kruse's Big A$$ Breakfast.)

Few people are born with the issue. It develops over a lifetime of low level exposure and inflammation. Then the body starts to over-do a response to something it views as an invader.

Also, wheat is being grown differently now than it was even a decade ago. They're starting to spray fields shortly before harvest with Round-up (something the WHO says is probably a carcinogen) so the plants can be harvested sooner.
