Default Breakthrough!!!

I am not ashamed to admit that I almost cried when I weighed today for the first time in about 45 days. I finally broke through the 300lb mark. I now weigh less than I did in high school. I also have reached the 100 pounds lost milestone.

I cannot overstate how different my life is now. I am wearing clothes that are like 5 years old that I shoved them to the back of the closet in disgust when I out grew them.

I smile. A lot. I walk the stairs without being out of breath. I can take a bath and actually have room between my sides and the tub. I am finally moving through this world with the elusive confidence that I should have always had but couldn't find.

I cannot wait to see the shocked looks on peoples faces when I go home for the holidays.

I still have a long way to go, but for the first time I really believe I will get there.

Sorry for tooting my own horn but man I feel great today.

Thanks!

I lost most of it in my legs, face, and moobs (man boobs).

Oddly enough one of the places I notice it the most is on my hands.

It is kind a mixed emotion to not be the fattest person in a given social situation anymore but to know exactly how that person feels.

"Miles to go before we sleep" as they say but the road is paved with sausages and bacon so it should be a fun one.

Thanks! It is a strange but most welcome pleasure to be a 100 pound loser. I used to envy those people so much.

I can tell you from experience that even a 30 pound loss will feel wonderful for you. After my first thirty pounds I felt so empowered. The confidence boost you get from actually feeling in control of something really affects other areas of your life as well. Good luck on your journey.

Fantastic! I'm so happy for you. I'm nine pounds away from having lost 100 myself.
