Food intake over the last couple of days:

Sunday Food:
Lunch: Pan fried scallops with pea puree, crispy bacon & roast tomatoes, Roast Pork with crackling, roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables, Banoffee pie with caramel sauce, 2 glass Sauvignon Blanc.

Went out for a late Sunday lunch. I knew that I’d be having a large meal, including a pud, so I planned for this to be my only meal of the day.

Activity: none

Monday Food:
Lunch: Salmon Salsa Salad with rocket
Dinner: Chilli, ginger and lime chicken with asparagus

Activity: 45 minute lunchtime walk, Yoga class

Tuesday Food:
Lunch: Tuna Salsa Salad with rocket
Dinner: Pan fried monkfish, asparagus, roasted plum tomatoes with basil.
Snack: Nectarine

Activity: 45 minute lunchtime walk, weight training

Food intake since Friday:

Friday:
Breakfast: 2 fried eggs, bacon, mushrooms
Dinner: Chilli, ginger and lime chicken with asparagus
Activity: 45 minute lunchtime walk, weight training

Saturday:
Breakfast: 2 fried eggs, LC sausages, mushrooms
Dinner: Prosciutto with Mozzarella and sun dried tomatoes, Steak, Caesar salad with avocado
Activity: 45 minute walk

I had bought the Proscuitto and Mozzarella with the intention of having them for lunch, but saved them for later as I wasn't hungry.

Sunday:
Breakfast: 2 fried eggs, LC sausages, mushrooms
Dinner: Roast chicken with LC mushroom stuffing, 2 small roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, oven-roasted carrots and green beans
Activity: none

Monday:
Lunch: Salmon salsa with rocket and baby plum tomatoes
Dinner: Lamb kofta kebabs, Greek yoghurt with whey protein and blueberries
Activity: 45 minute lunchtime walk, Yoga class


I seem to be moving back more of an Atkins maintenance style woe and feel better for it.

B: 3 deviled egg yolks!!!!
L: 2 hot dogs
S: if needed roast beef wrapped around cheese
D:meat balls in marinara, cheese..sm. salad
60 min walk with stairs and and inclines....we are going to have to reduce our walking to an hr from 90 min because we are now fully in summer here in LV..ugh

Dinner: Creamy Macadamia Shrimp with stir fried pak choi, raspberries and cream
Activity: 45 minute lunchtime walk, weight training

Thursday:
Lunch: Salmon salsa with rocket and baby plum tomatoes
Dinner: Chargrilled sirloin steak with Béarnaise Sauce, rocket side salad, raspberries and cream
Activity: 45 minute lunchtime walk, stretch work out

Friday:
Breakfast: 2 fried eggs, bacon, mushrooms
Dinner: Chargrilled chicken Caesar Salad with avocado and baby plum tomatoes, raspberries and cream
Activity: 45 minute walk, weight training


BTW, can definitely recommend the Creamy Macadamia Shrimp ... absolutely delicious

I have a bumper crop of raspberries this year, so it looks like I'll be having a daily treat of raspberries and cream for a while.

B: 2 egg omelet w/ cheese chicken and mushrooms...finished abt 3/4 of it.
L; 2 oz pastrami 2 oz cheese melted over ..mayo and mustard..
( breadless hot pastrami)
D: fruited chicken salad over lettuce greens ( 2 chopped cherries., 2 T finely chopped green apple)
Exercise: rest day

Saturday:
Pre exercise: Banana whey protein & peanut butter shake
Post exercise: 2 fried eggs, LC sausages, mushrooms
Dinner: Chargrilled sirloin steak with Béarnaise Sauce, rocket side salad, raspberries and cream
Activity: Walkactive Time Trial (7km)

Sunday:
Brunch: 2 fried eggs, LC sausages, mushrooms
Dinner: Roast beef, cauliflower cheese, oven-roasted carrots and green beans, raspberries and cream
Activity: none - day off


I've got a bumper crop of raspberries this year, which is why I'm having raspberries and cream every day.

Dinner: Tiger prawns in garlic butter, Salmon served on a bed of asparagus, samphire and baby potatoes with a white wine, saffron and tomato sauce
Activity: 45 minute walk

Tuesday:
Lunch: Grilled salmon with a 'hot' artichoke salad
Dinner: Rotisserie chicken with Béarnaise Sauce, rocket side salad, raspberries and cream
Activity: Stretch work out

Wednesday:
Lunch: Salmon and prawns with a Dijon mustard & dill mayonnaise, rocket, baby plum tomatoes
Dinner: Chargrilled ribeye steak with with Béarnaise Sauce, side salad, raspberries and cream
Activity: 45 minute walk, weight training


I had to go on an overnight business trip on Monday, so dinner was at a restaurant close to the hotel. I originally planned to have a large cooked breakfast on Tuesday, just in case lunch turned out to be the usual business lunch staple of a pile of sandwiches and other such carby/wheaty delights.

However, due to technical problems, the only hot food available for breakfast at the hotel was toast. So I decided to skip breakfast, and in turn, would probably also skip lunch. Luckily for me, lunch took place in the staff restaurant, where some great low carb choices were on offer.

Gosh I keep forgetting about this thread!

Always every morning....double espresso with 2TBS 1/2 & 1/2

Before Zumba class...

B: Peanutbutter on 3 CG bran crispbreads. Carlsons fish oil off the spoon and vitamins and supplements.

L: smoked turkey/bacon roll-ups in romaine leaves smeared with ranch. 1oz pistachios, and blackberries.

D: stir-fried petite scallops with pea pods with a hot Thai chili sauce. SF jello.

Activity: 1 hour walk, full body stretch workout

Dinner: BBQ consisting of ribeye steak, Buffalo Burgers, chicken kebabs, Oven-roasted Potatoes with Garlic and Rosemary,
rocket salad and Avocado Salsa, Raspberry Eton Mess

Bought a gazelle exerciser today at a garage sale, hope to add an extra 30-45 of cardio daily.

Sunday:

L: Roast Beef, water
S: isopure ZC protein shake with almond milk, water
D: ground beef, salad, LC cheese cake, water

20 min. cardio on the gazelle exerciser
