I AM the Master of My Domain - 3 days

Well, I *was* doing better, had more days racked up, until Saturday. Friends of ours that we hadn't seen in 10 years were in town (I found out from her Facebook post). She didn't know we'd moved here, and I didn't know they were coming. Anyway, we got together that evening for dinner, and they had their hearts set on Maggiano's (Italian). I had had a big salad for lunch, so really didn't want Ceasar salad for dinner, and that was the only low carb thing on the menu. I didn't really overdo it, but it wasn't low carb, so Sunday was day 1 again.

Liddie - so glad your BIL is doing better!

Welcome back, Great Scott!

Lisa - what's your new job? Not catching babies anymore?

MikeMike - Wow! You are really back in the groove now!!! WTG on the 17 days!

No, still catching babies half-time. A few months ago I took over as director/manager of the maternal/infant health unit of the hospital after the manager made a decision to take early retirement due to health reasons. Right now it's a major PIA, but if I can pull it off and get this train back on the track...well can we just say even better job security. So far, so good, but on any given day, it's dicey. Hence, my new diagnosis of bipolar work disorder.

Everybody have a wonderful St. Pat's.

I AM the Master of My Domain - 5 days

Had a good St Pat's day yesterday -indulged in one Guinness and had corned beef and cabbage (no carrots or potatoes).

MOMD day 64

Brother is recovering still,
I am staying on track with exercise and eating, at work today it was brought up that we may have an employee white river rafting trip, I think I'll give it a go when they have it.
i have been doing lots of exercises to strenthin my core, and it seems to really make my back stronger, too.
I am working this weekend, so that makes sticking to plan easier, I have found that I have to really fill my days off up to help me stay away from mindless munching.

Um, if your catching babies, half time...does that mean you're missing them the other half of the time?

Figured I might as well open my first post in MOMD 4 with a witty one....
But I am glad to hear you're safe during the tsunami warnings out there!

Liddie - glad to hear your Brother is doing well, and that you are not wavering during this!

niudog - they keep moving the threads but we keep finding them!

hey Daddio - I have been riding here alreadytoo. Need to bundle up some as a good day is about 40 degrees...I suspect your weather is a little bit nicer though...

I am chugging along. Went all week without a hitch then went to Taco John's Saturday for lunch. I did not over eat but I also did not eat LC...so reset the counter as I am almost MOMD Day 1....

See ya all soon!

WONJ#10 (the finest #10 there is) signing off with a wizz, a bang and an excuse me!
