I just received a private message telling me that because of too many bounce notices.... I know it was an automatic message. I replied to it, and got another automatic message stating that the webmaster chooses not to receive private messages. That makes sense. It's more efficient to read and respond here, and it's interesting for us to see how others in the same situation are handling it. Good thinking, and thanks for your ongoing work to correct this situation!

O.k., it appears we (our server) are being blacklisted by some ISP's due to "abuse". Major ISP's aren't blocking us completely, except for strict spam/junk settings. After going through some of the blacklisting services, it seems we were temporarily blacklisted, and are not (or no longer) on any of the major blacklists.

Best advice so far, is check if you can change the level of spam filtering on your imbox.

If you would like to contact your ISP, let me know, and I can provide you with a copy of their rejection message from our logs refusing to deliver your thread notification email.

Also, what is the email address for the notifications so that I can add it to my Safe Senders list in Outlook? I thought I had added it to the list, but now I don't see it.

I think this is done on a higher level than outlook. Is there a spam tool/filter page by RoadRunner?

I went to the Road Runner web site and checked the settings there. There was a setting for what to do with junk mail. The option "Place the email in the Junk Mail folder" was checked.

I changed this setting to be "Deliver mail." Not sure, though, if it will fix the issue as there were 5 emails in the Junk Mail folder there, but none from this forum..

Also, I added the "subscriber_notify at lowcarber.org" to the list of "Allowed Senders and Domains."

Now I guess I wait to see if I get a notification.

If I were to call their Help desk, would I request that email from this domain be allowed?

I did call roadrunner's help desk and they walked me through all the steps you've taken, Bawdy. Now I get every spam message out there.

But I don't dare try, again, to go back to my original email address because for some odd reason, that locks me out every time and Doreen keeps letting me back in. Thank you, Doreen!
