I started this yesterday. I'm going to be on week 1 for a while I am HORRIBLE at running. I was a cheerleader for years before I got heavy, and even with training daily year round with that, I could never run a lap around the track. But...I'm going to stick with it and keep giving it a go. Hubby went with me and breezed through it with no problem. I got through the first run and halfway through the second, and got that really bad sharp pain in my right side...you know the one...it's saying "HEY! WTF do you think you're doing...sit down!"
I can go at a fast clip on the eliptical for an hour, but I can't jog to save my life. I think I am going to get out and power walk this week, and then start week 1 again next week and try to do every other jog. Then the following week do week 1 as it was meant to be done.
