Seriously, I bought a box of Truvia, a stevia derivative and used that in the Cran Walnut bread. I did it with dried unsweetened apricots and 12 packets of Truvia. It turned out great except it was not giving me that "zing" sweetness you can get with either real sugar or artificial sugar. I think next time I will try to sweeten it a bit more. Excellent recipe.

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry that you were disspapointed with the product. I'll get some Truvia when I come to the states as I've not seen it online.
I have to agree with you. Sweetners available don't really give you a sweet taste as compared to sugar. Apparently if you combine 2 different ones you'll get a more concentrated touch of sweetness.
I'll be experimenting with Xylitol and Stevia when making some brownies.
