Default Q-10 - one of the most crucial enzymes we have

I'm sorry, but this is not correct. Q-10 is an amazing compound that works - very, very noticeably - in about six WEEKS, not years.

Here are some facts about this amazing enzyme that is in every single cell in the human body:

-- If you take statins, you deplete a minimum of 40% of your available Q-10. This is one of the reasons for statin side effects like weakening muscles, memory loss and even temporary amnesia. Q-10 supplementation helps prevent or reverse this.

-- If you are over 45, you should know that you begin to lose the ability to synthesize Q-10 from food, and lose more with each succeeding year. Supplementation will restore this crucial and much needed enzyme.

-- If you have one of the most serious forms of heart disease - where your eject stroke has been adversely affected (and where even recently it was believed that only a heart transplant would save you) - know that recent studies have shown that Q-10 supplementation has helped and even reversed the disease!

-- If you still have hypertension even when you've lost a lot of weight, and you are over 45, you need to know that Q-10 deficiency may well be the cause - and Q-10 supplementation can be the cure. I went from 195/110 to 130/85 with medication and weight loss. I stayed there until I tried Q-10. After six months I was able to completely stop medication -- and my BP is now 106/62. Medication free!

-- Because our brain as well as our cardiovascular system utilizes so much of this enzyme, please be aware that Q-10 supplementation (especially for those over 45) has an extra benefit. Within a few weeks of taking the supplement, you will find an amazing amount of energy returning. And you will definitely find your 'senior moments' fading. For the last decade, those 'tip of the tongue' words I just couldn't find grew. Since Q-10 supplementation, those words have gone from the tip-of-my-tongue to out-of-my-lips.

Please also be aware that the newer form of Q-10 -- Ubiquinol -- is four times more powerful than the older form, Ubiquinone, yet only costs a bit more. It's worth it. I needed 200 mg of Ubiquinone to do what 50 mg of Ubiquinol does for my BP. The least expensive place to buy this that I've found is http://www.swansonvitamins.com -- though you can only buy 3 bottles of Ubiquinol at a time.

If I'm ever forced to take just one supplement for the rest of my life, Q-10 will be it.

Lisa
