I've just read it over and picked up more tips as I went along.
After using fitday for a couple of weeks, a review of all the messages helped to 1. solidify what I learned the first time and 2. brush up on a few things I had either not understood initially or just did not remember reading.
One thing I had not remembered reading is that you can only write in the % of RDA for supplements, which turned out to be a good thing not to know, because after much computing back and forth adjusting the %,
I finally got the number of mgs or units I wanted the nutrients report to show. As was suggested here earlier, I used a future date, then added 'supplements' as a new custom food with one calorie one (no need to add anything else to register it as a food).
Sometimes not knowing that 'it can't be done', you end up finding how it can be!
Many thanks for all the great tips
Now I'm on a quest to find 'how to' insert a link in a message and replace the address with, for example
click here or whatever is appropriate.
A great labor/labour week-end to all!
