I care!

I'm having a tough time right now as well. The peanut butter got ahold of me again. I am self-sabotaging.

WE CAN DO IT!! DON'T GIVE UP!

Just don't try it drizzled on SF Vanilla ice cream. It will consume your every waking thought. I wish I'd never tried it.

(*whistling....looking guiltily from side-to-side....*)

The brand is: "Island Farms"...they sell it at Thrifty Foods. It's 3gr/carbs per 1/2 cup and is sweetened with Splenda and maltitol.

The chocolate one isn't as good, IMO.

I originally bought it because I don't really like ice cream and I thought it would be easy to resist. HA! That plan sure failed.

I was in your shoes close to a month ago..I had lost weight on the lc and in my weird mind thought..ok I have lost it, now I can go back to my old habits..NOT..I have yo-yo'd off/on for about 2.5 years..The last 6 mos..I was bad..none of my clothes fit me..I was wearing sweats most of the time and hated it..I decided and I knew..I hate living this way..The first week was a Mother..But each day gets easier..I find things to do to keep me busy..I plan lc meals ahead of time and I keep a positive attitude..Now that I have passed that Hump..I thank the lord I stuck with it..I am not a quitter..I will prevail

U will to...You can do this..If you didn't care, you wouldn't be here in the first place right?

U can do it

Sounds good. WTG Steph, get us all hooked...

I agree with above posts. It does get easier as you go, it's very motivating to see the scale move. Stay away from bordom, the tv is trigger for me especially.

Take up a new hobbie or interest that you've never done before.
I joined this forum and now have a hobbie of harrassing/annoying my buddies. Great fun!

Thank's feelskinny... I'm crocheting a bedspread & don't watch the telly (not this time of year anyway)..My problem is the puter!

I have wondered about all these diet's (think I'm overwhelmed) ..Alot of the Atkineer's take it all off, but they all come back saying they have to start over..So i figure that'll probably be me! and that's really ''unhealthy'' to yoyo like that..I know the "atkin's'' diet make's total sense to me..But having to come back & start all over (I know there's lot's that are maintaining) is really discouraging to me...I've yoyo'd many time's & damit I don't want to do it again! I'm 59 yrs old, I don't have a lot of playing field But, at the end of the day, it's all up to us anyway...Just ramblin'

Well beautiful B.Cer, it also helps to take it one day at a time. I find it easy to feel overwhelmed at how much I need to lose.

ps. I can't wait for our holidays. B.C. is always part of our touring fun.

As for the ice cream, check at save-on and if they don't have it talk to the manager. Here on the edge of the world, the Overwaitea will sometimes try a product that a customer asks about to see if it sells.
