Talking Introduction to the group

Hello to everyone! I have been lo carbing for 5 weeks now and I feel so great. I have not felt this good in years. I guess I have always had a problem with sugar but refused to accept it. Now that I am no longer craving the carbs, and not feeling hungry, I can actually see this as a way of life for me one day at a time.....Lizzybaby P.S. I have made a few introductions but can't find the journal acccess??????

Question

Guess I need someone to hold my hand and lead me to it. Where is the journals/bootcamp? What's it under, is it a forum, is it in my profile?

don't worry about it... the quickest way would be to click on the journal at the bottom of my post... it will bring you to my journal... if you look to the top where it gives the folders you should see the one titled journals/bootcamp... you need to start a new post just for your journal... then just reply to that new thread you start to update your journal or hop over and visit other journals and leave them a note....

Journals / Bootcamp

this is what the folder list looks like... Journals/bootcamp is 2 above triple digets club and the third below the introduction group

I have another , I have problems with water retention so I know this can be one cause but i was wondering if anyone else has a problem with the scales going up and down. Like yesterday it was 231, today 236, 4 days ago it was 235 then day before yesterday 240? Is this normal? I'm feel like a yo yo going up and down...help, i'm getting dizzy

I didn't realize how fast carbs can add up. I thought i was only doing 50 - 60 a day but i revisited Friday's list of things I had and here's the shocker. Friday my carbs were a whopping 126.8 and the protein was only 247.4 and what I thought was only a 1200-1300 caloric diet was actually 2108...sheesh. What's wrong with me.

Yesterday looked better with carbs at 79.4 and protein at 150.6 calories were 1161. Today looked even better with carbs 59.2, protein 69.4 and calories at 768. So tell me, how do i increase protein and calories a little without moving the number on the carbs? I need help big time.

Hullo Xentrick,

First you go to the Journals/Bootcamp section - just click here to go straight there - and when you are there, click on "new thread."
That thread will be your journal.

Do read the "sticky" thread at the top. It has some good information about journalling.

All the best!

this is day 3 cheat free, got the headache, got the nasty taste in my mouth, but feeling good about being on track...haven't weighed think I'm only gonna weigh every two weeks because I can get totally hung up on the scale weighing several times a day fretting over the water loss and gain etc.
the headache is INCREDIBLE ...oouch. Trying to keep my calories down today as yesterday they were 2500...kinda high I think.
mini goal of 10 days cheat free------
