I'm glad you enjoyed it!!

I would guess that you can eat up to 1/2 cup mashed without any problems. I've no idea how many ozs 60 grams is. ...sorry!

What kind of fish is sea bream? Saw it several times on menus in Spain but didn't know what it was there either. I think someone told us it was dorado (mahi-mahi here) but not sure they knew what they were talking about either!

And a 1/2 cup is the recommended amount on sweet potato. I'm working on trying to get down to that level! All grains/starches should be side dishes. Sadly even ww pastas!

sea bream is a pretty generic term. but there are two types - a red one and a grey one. It's definitely NOT mahi mahi/dorado (I had that for dinner tonight and am quite familiar with it). It's a much smaller fish . . . about the size of a sea bass and similar in taste/texture.

when I weighed the 60g of raw sweetpotato and then boiled and mashed it. I was left with a tablespoon of food. But it was like an extra treat. the veg and fish were the main course.

Judy!!!!!!

Is butternut squash a starchy veg? I've been eating it a few weeks now and I've been treating it as a starchy veg which means that I reduce the amount of sweet potato or peas I have if I'm having butternut squash with it.

Have I been robbing myself of some extra strachy veg?

Hi!

Yes, it is a starchy veggie as are all winter squashes. Nope, your not robbing yourself.

Hows it going?

THANKS.

It's ok. Had a bit of a blip last week which could be either down to me eating brown rice twice or some new medication that I'm on.

Hope to be back on track this week.

I've been writing in my journal again. Have a peek if you care to.
