Getting a handle on stress eating is huge!! It can be done and I bet that you can do it!!
Also, even though you may not have convenience foods where you are, you can stock up on good sources of protein and veggeis, nuts(easy here) and dairy....get your kitchen ready!!
I boil HB eggs 6 at a time...cook 2 lbs of chicken or turkey breasts every week or so....I always have a quick meal or snack ready to put together.

Yeah, I did a lot of pre-preparation this last week before I started, but my problem is I don't like to eat the same things every day... and sometimes I don't know what I feel like until that meal comes. I bought some broccoli in a light cheese sauce as a back up the other day, of course without reading the label, and it turned out it had corn starch in it. So then I couldn't eat it. It's actually mostly the veggies for dinner that I have trouble with... so I'm thinking of making a few veggie type casseroles this weekend and eating the leftovers throughout the week. Although I like veggies, even steamed and plain, they get boring to me after a few days.
HB eggs are the best... I made 18 last weekend, and my hubby and I snack on them through the week. I still have 6 left, so I'm good for a few days. Raw veggies with store-bought hummus works too (now there's a convenience food I could find!) The last time I did SB, I didn't do hummus because I thought I wouldn't like it with veggies... boy was I wrong!
Anyone have a veggie casserole recipe they like? I'm thinking of trying that this weekend.
