Default No Carb Mocha Vanilla Frappuccino-- now that's hot!

I just made something so delicious.

2 tspns. of instant decafe coffee
1/2 cup water
6 large ice cubes
2 Tbspns heavy cream
some sugar free vanilla torani syrup.

throw it all in the blender and set it to frappe!

and it's yummy.

I often just put ice in my coffee with heavy cream and either just spenda or a flavored syrup. It is really tasty iced coffee.

Will the instant coffee granules dissolve in cool water or do I use hot water and mix it w/ the coffee first then let it cool and add it to the syrup and cream before putting it in the blender?
I want to try this but I don't wan't to make a bloody mess of it.

Even if it won't dissolve easily in cold water (ie, with a spoon in a glass) it will still dissolve fully in the blender.
