I was diagnosed w/ pcos and insulin resistance in Feb my dr told me to do South Beach but I have a really hard time sticking to it. I'm starting to think I might do better on something like atkins.

Then do Atkins. I never tried South Beach. I ate some of the packaged foods, but I never did SB. I like Atkins, anyway.

I'm trying to follow the Schwarzbein Principle. I've only been on it for a week, and my digestion is already better. I also get a slight edema all over my body when I eat too many carbohydrates, since the TSP, it's gone away! Does this happen to anyone else who may be following the same or any other plan?
