Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been out doing a lot of running around lately. My baby just turned 1 & is starting to walk too.
I'm for all Tx teams. I hate when they play each other.

As far as the college Texas Teams....well I go the Burnt Orange
way............ Longhorns... but I respect all the Texas Teams..
A&M and North Texas, Texas Tech.. UTEP, SMU ... you name
it...it is all in great fun support your own team..

Keep me in your thoughts, fellow Texans. Our association at the lake is having a fish fry this weekend with all the trimmings. I am going to eat before I go, but this will be hard. I love fried catfish or is this legal?

So I had Steak...broccoli...and Water..... not as good as
a beer....but 3 lbs this week was the payoff !! haha..

Hey ya'll.......I have to admit I've been lurking in this thread for a while.
I'm originally from TX. Born and raised in Pleasanton (you know, the birthplace of the cowboy ) and then went to high school in New Braunfels. Spent the last 10 years in northwest area of SA (up until 2 years ago).

Shiner Bock is the best damn beer in the world!!! LOL. Unfortunately it has like 13 carbs
Anyway, I'm in the Seattle, WA area now and I love it here. The weather is great but the Mexican food just doesn't compare.

So, even though I'm not a Texan anymore, just wanted to say hi.

Had the Cattleman's Ribeye MRare w/double broccoli at Texas Land & Cattle Co. It was delicious! Want to go back there for my birthday. I had a <<sip>> of ShinerBock, that was it...honest! How was everyone elses week-end?

I know....haha..... I so miss it....and those that live here in the south central Texas.....they cancelled the Shiner Bocktober fest
this year..... maaaan I was looking forward to it... I suppose it
got too big and they were losing money.....so.....

man....it sucked ...it was bitter.... and the vegs werent even cooked..( which is better for you I know...but the steamed
wasnt even steamed...) I told the manager as he walked around..
and asked..."is everything perfect?!!" I said...uh...no my broc
is not even cooked and it has a bitter taste...I had the other
two guys I was with taste it...to see if it was just me...
and no...they said it was bitter.
So....I wasnt happy...I didnt even care for the smoked sirloin.

I missed the game Saturday night because I was at the fish fry at the lake. BOO HOO - my boys lost!!!! Good for the Texans. Wow - you are the Shine Bock King. Congrats for not having any. I am going on my third week without a beer and it is about to KILL ME, but this will be worth it.

Jarrod, my broccoli was okay, but I went on Saturday night. I hope they gave you a refund or something off on your bill for a crappy meal. I had the ribeye - med rare <<YUM>>, salad - oil & vinegar, & 2 sides of broccoli, ate it all!!
