I finally got into my jeans I've had for years. I wore them last night out to eat and they fit fine. My dh was so funny, when he got home last night from work, I had on the jeans and a black sweater... all ready to go... he said "hummm, we might not make it to dinner" lol
Okay, this sounds weird, but I was sitting with my laptop and noticed it was further away... at first I thought, darn, I need a new prescription for my glasses...
then I realized...
It's not sitting on the little ledge I had for a tummy!!! OMG! WOW
Oh, and I have been able to sit in office waiting chairs with arms again. Phew!

Ohhh...I'm only 6 lbs to onederland. I have only lost 1 lbs in 12 days, but I am sooooo close!
My latest triumph: I had to buy round two of interim work clothes. Round one interim work clothes were too big and I just couldn't get by with them anymore. I even had to buy smaller blouses (I'm large chested) in round two.
6 pounds to go.... I am cheering you on!
Onederland is so close for you, I am excited It WILL happen!!

Another small victory :
A week and a half ago, I bought a pair of "incentive" jeans. They came up over my hips but I couldn't button or zip them up. They are a nice pair of Levis that I bought at Ross for $12.99 to keep me motivated (as I just hate wasting money). I put them on last night to go out with my sister and her b/f and I did NOT have to lay on the bed to button and zip them.
I've only lost 1 lb in the last 12 days so this prompted me to measure and yep, I was down another 1.5" in my waist and .5" in my hips. I'm so glad I kept up with the measuring along with weighing as the measuring tape truly does move when the scale doesn't. This continues to keep me motivated to stick with this WOL even when the scale doesn't budget.
