HEY Atkins Fan! would love to be your buddy I am in Belleville close to you. maybe a road trip some day lol. Well what i am trying is the atkins/GI index life style I love my carbs 2 much to let them go completly, whole grain instead of the white yukki stuff. I didnt like it at the beginning but i am getting use to it. I have lost 7lbs in 4 weeks slow and steady dont want to get to much of a saggy belly lol I also have gained muscle because i have been going to the gym 5 days a week. I have lost more inches more then anything which is my goal! get a hold of me would like to hear what you are doing in your journey (fun_loving_21~hotmail.com) hope to hear from you hun

Hi! I'm new to the Atkins diet. I've been on it for just two weeks and wow, what a difference. Not much weight lost (5 lbs) but I definitely have lost inches. My partner has lost over 15 (he had a lot more to lose though!) I'm in the Toronto area (beaches) and would love to chat, lend some support, exchange ideas, etc! p.s. I've never joined a message board/forum, have used msn tho!

Hi Vikki. I was a member of Curves for a year, and have now joined Goodlife. Sorry to hear you've had a difficult few months. I hope you're able to go back to Curves and get back on track with Atkins. I'm very new to this so I'm still in the "watch every carb" mode! I read your profile and see you've been doing this diet for a few years now. I'm sure you have tons of great advice!

Hi guys Glad to have you aboard togal 5Lbs is alot in 2 weeks you dont want to loose to fast because then you get a really saggy belly that will need plastic surgery to fix like my self. I lost alot of weight fast and its not good! It destroys your body not saying that it does it for everyone but more then 1-2 pounds is plently anymore then that you skin tone cant keep up with that. So no my aim is 1-2 a week and i am happy with that I know my body wont get to saggy. I will need a tummy tuck when i am completely finished with loosing this baby fat (had a baby 3 months ago) but i am ok with that. Before I had my daughter I was 240lbs on a 5'4 frame then I lost down to 160 then we were pregnant now I am back up to 190lbs. I will loose it I have help from all you wonderful ppl on here. hope I didnt ramble on to much. Take care !!!!!!!!!

Hi Moncheri. Wow .. good for you to be able to go from 240 to 160 (did you accomplish this through atkins? ). It's normal to gain weight after having a wee one (both my girls are all grown up now, but I I'll never forget gaining about 30 lbs with my youngest .. she's now 17. You sound positive and determined. Good for you. You're right. It definitely helps to have support and encouragement! I am happy with the five pounds.. its just everything I read about this "induction" phase said that I would expect more. But I am more muscle than body fat, so yes, 5 lbs is a good thing!
