Congrats PV! BTW, where did you find the flax bread? Or did you make it? Being way out here, it's VERY hard for me to find LC items & I always have so much more important things to do (mainly lovin' on my new grandson) when I'm in Lnc. So unless I KNOW I can find what I want, I don't just browse around the nutrition stores.
Okay, last night my back hurt too bad to walk, so (pat me on the back) I got up extra early this a.m. and did 1 1/4 mi. If it's not too hot I will do my today's mile tonight. But I have a meeting at 8:00 so don't know if that will happen or not.
No Cheatin' I'm really disappointed in the Walk Club forum. It was a good deal for the DVD & belt; but sure nothing going on there on the forum. HOPEFULLY, I'll remember to cancel my membership at 12 weeks so it doesn't automatically renew. How are you feeling about it?
Where's HuskerChic? I haven't seen her here since Monday.
Chicken hindquarters were on sale this week in the family pak size. So I fried up a whole pack, then bagged them inidvidually & froze to use either for my lunch at work; or the legs as a snack. I also made a yummy Breakfast Pizza (well, that was the name of the recipe before I LCed it).
Well, gotta' get busy.

I made the flax bread, my version is 4 servings, the one-serving version is:
1 T
ground flax seed (available at just about any Lincoln grocer)
1 T Butter
1/4 t of baking powder
1 egg
Cinnamon and Splenda to taste.

Hi all...............

Do any of you have any big plans for the 4th? I am working on both the 3rd and the 5th so that pretty much kills my plans of doing anything.

I have never been a big fan of the 4th as I have always had dogs my entire life and loud fireworks and animals don't go togehter. I find fireworks totally annoying and unnecessary !

Yeah, I know I'm a scrooge, but if you've ever had pets you would understand....

No plans here, I didn't take off the 3rd or 5th either. I also haven't bought any 'good' fireworks or any other fireworks for that matter....so we'll just play it by ear.

Birthday party of Andrew (9) tomorrow at Champions. 6 boys + go-carts = lots of fun.

I have never been there, so I can only imagine what it is going to be like !

My little ones (4, 3 & 2) don't care much for fireworks either, but my 9 y.o. sure does.

I LOVE fireworks. In the past our dogs have not minded fireworks, but we have a new puppy - new in November so she is about 9 mos now.

She is a bit timid, so I think she might freak, which is too bad cuz she is a hunting dog.

We live on a lake and everyone takes their boats out to watch the fireworks from the water. The display here is usually pretty spectacular since about 4 people usually have big parties and go nuts - and I mean in the tens of thousands for one of them - on fireworks.

Unfortunately I will miss it all and be in sioux falls. Oh well. Have a safe and happy 4th everyone.
