Gosh Shamrocks, at least we know you were trying 'bigtime'! Hope things get better soon! I can't say I've done enough to do much damage yet..

Okay Now I'm showing that I am a WATP fanatic, I have it , it's okay! Sort of like a step! But as always Leslie brings it to a level where everyone can succeed!

Nole,

Thanks...I was beginning to think I just dreamed this thing up....I've been curious if the weight balls or other accessories could be purchased at a sporting goods store or if they have to be ordered off of the web site...I know walmart had the dvd's, but haven't ever seen the balls or anything else.

Oh yeah , you can get the weights at any sporting goods store!
on her latest videos she is using the ones that are soft and kinda wrap around your hand! Sometimes instead of using the belt , I just use the handweights and the stretchie band you can get from the store also

I have massive heel spurs as well. Went to a foot doctor and got hard orthodics(sp sorry)made...not only did it eliminate the heel spur pain, it helped with my knee and ankle pain...the orthodics *re-train* the foot, taking the pressure off...no more pain...best of luck

I think you'll like it and if her excessive talking bothers you, cut down the sound and play some music instead

Hi,
I did make a cd of my own favorites and turned down the volume on the dvd after I had done it a couple of times....I enjoyed it so much more and the time flew by!

Did the one mile today. It was quick, easy, and fun, but boy am I out of shape. My buns started hurting about 2 minutes in and didn't stop until I had about 5 minutes left.

I did it again today, my buns still burned for the most of it, and I wore my pedometer through it. I'm not sure if its my pedometer, the steps I was doing, or what, but it said I only did a bit over half a mile. Anyone else try the one mile with a pedometer and get that?

LOL It's not so much the excessive talking and I find her Jersey Girl accent kind of amusing (I have a way bad Southern accent), but that cackle of a laugh grates on my last nerve! I love the video, so I try to tune the laugh out! I have the 4-mile one. It still kicks my butt!

Sunny!

I think it depends on the pedometer, also it would have to depend on your length of stride against the length of the stride of whoevers they used for the video, i walk a marked 16 mile trail quite often and have a few pedometers, I get anything from 12 miles to 22 miles but each mile is marked and it is a straight trail into the forrest.
