Would love to join u gals. I started Sunday after a 2 week slumpd down follwing long time Atkins. Lots of Carbs and 7 pds later I knew I need something different. So modified and looked very much like SB. I have lost 4 of those 7 in 3 days, so thats good and hope to continue losing. Water comes first of course but considering I am in TOM thats not bad.

Vacation weight loss to me is very real. I can lose easier then and believe its due to the escape of stress and being able to concentrate and tune into oneself. Problem is I only get a vacation when going home about every 5 or more years.
Need to negotiate more vacation time hehe.

GIRLS!!!! You seem to be able to get the bit about inserting the logo onto your siggy lines....fantastic, BUT if you want the link so that others can click on your logo and come here, then do the following...
if this doesn't work, I'm gonna yell!

go back to edit signature (after copying the address of the thread...) Click on the picture so that it is highlighted with a box around it.
Then click on the icon that looks like the world with a paperclip thingumy, it should bring up a box that says please enter the url of your link. Paste the http:// bit in there, and save. it *should* link in then!

Default Neat tip

Here's a great dessert recipe idea that is very satisfying and low cal/fat!

1 cup fat free milk
2-3 tsp sugar free vanilla syrup (or any flavor you fancy)
1 T fat free Cool Whip

Stir the milk and syrup together in a glass. Dallop with a T of cool whip.

This was SO yummy!! Very sweet and a great sweet cravings buster.
(I used Hood Fat Free Low Carb milk, but regular skim milk would be great too)

Oh, BY THE WAY - I can't find Fat Free Cool Whip in the food list at Miz Frog's. Now, the packaged said "Good for South Beach" all phases... Is this right?

Thanks Lauren, that sounds wonderful! I am always a little wary of eating that kind of thing, but I might give it a go for a treat once in a while! I'm not the kind of gal who can easily say no!!

Pete, your idea does sound good. I would want to just pop in once a week to see how folk are doing and post a weight stat though, because I already spend far too much time on the forum as it is .....so what I mean is, great idea, but could I join in on a weekly basis?

Would be fun to compare plans though.

Ok, can someone tell me if it's ok to drink vegetable juices? Like say I wanted to juice some I dunno, celery and beetroot or something...is that legal to do that. (and by legal I don't mean am I going to get arrested!! )
If so, has anyone got any ideas of what would make interesting and tasty drinks? I really miss smoothies!!

Ok, so I have just asked someone from the board to come in to explain why it's not working for you guys....I have every faith that he won't let us down girls - he is the master of all computers in the world...ever lol (Am I sucking up enough here??? )

Got to go get my scrummy dinner now - so be back later to see if he's managed to sort it, I'm sure it's just my inability to explain things properly!

Vegetable juice is okay, I know in the book it said tomato juice, but I'm sure other kinds (exceptfor carrot) would be okay.

I just got back from Curves, and had a great workout and got ALL my water in!!! I weighed, measured and got BF% today-- I lost 1.2% body fat and 3 inches :-) I'm pretty excited!!!

"Treated" myself to juevo rancheros... It's my favorite dish.... Eggs, pinto beans mashed with olive oil and spices, cooked spinach, hot sauce, and RF sour cream :-) Only thing missing is salsa, but I didn't have any nor feel like whipping it up.

C'mon girls-- How are you doing today???
