Sorry, I switched people's names around so they'd be in ABC order... Also I already drank 64 oz of water (I was really thirsty) today. I need to go take my multivitamin, but it was my first day on Phase II. I sliced up an apple on my grilled chicken salad, it was simply delightful :-)

This is great....have you got room for one more. I started SB yesteray - I think I did really good. Got hungry yesterday afternoon, but I did not cheat. Today I ate a little more protein ~ lunch - seems to be working. I tried Atkins and did well - lost 40 lbs and kept it off for about a year - then it started creeping back on. After researching SB it seems to be just what I am looking for. Wish me luck!!

I want to take this opportunity to thank foxgluvs for starting this great thread and for all of you for participating. Your enthusiasm has infected me and gotten me to clean up my food and get back to some serious food planning!!

We can do this!!

I'm trying to figure out how she got the logo to work and when I do, I'll let you know.

I know many of you are new to SB, but I have heard from a few veterans. I've moved to Phase 2 in the past few days and I read the posts and the book and all, and it says to play around and add a starch or two and see what happens. Well today I added 1/2 an apple and a few craisins (i know, probably too sweet) to my salad, ate a frozen strawberry with my cottage cheese, and had half a whole wheat pita with my hummus and veggies. I feel like I sat down with a carton of ice cream... I mean I used to be a carboholic and this would do nothing-- What is happening to me?

Katzue,
I'm sure I'll feel the same way when I move into phase 2 in a week but I cant wait to have some of the HEALTHY stuff you described. It definately wasnt a carton of strawberry icecream but if it makes you feel any better I had my first cheat with a couple bites of mashed potatos. I'm not beating myself up though because in the past I would have ate the whole bowl, plus the whole kitchen up I'm going to try and get some exercise in tonight. We'll see how that goes So just take it one day at a time and try not to obsess. I'm cheerin for ya

I dont want to leave out any of the other sb babes so here ya go

Ok, comprehensive notes on how to get the picture in your signature.

You have to right click on it in my gallery and go to the bottom of the list and click on the properties, copy the *location* of it. Once you have that, go to your edit signature area; which is at the top of this page, under the heading quick links. Click on insert picture....then paste or type the link in there. Then save it. You should now see the picture come up in your signature. Remember to link it to this thread by comeing to the first page of beach babes, and then copying the http:// bit in the address line of your browser....then going back into edit signature, and then clicking on the picture.....clicking on add link, and then putting the link in to this thread.

If you already have a ticker like most of you do, you have to make sure it is located at the far left of the signature before you can insert the picture, and then make sure you insert the picture right next to the ticker.

Phew! Hope you can do it!

Nice to see so many new faces!!

Carmen... go back to edit signature (after copying the address of the thread...) Click on the picture so that it is highlighted with a box around it.
Then click on the icon that looks like the world with a paperclip thingumy, it should bring up a box that says please enter the url of your link. Paste the http:// bit in there, and save. it *should* link in then!

Hope that helps!

Wishing all you Beach Babes a great Wed. We weighed in today and both hubby and I gained while gone on vacation last week. So I'm back on track, and phase one again. The treadmill is my best friend again. That and SF jello.

I'll try to add the pic its great.

Have a great day.

Thanks Skippie!
I honestly don't know how you could really go on vacation and not gain weight!! It's all about relaxation and getting away from your cares. And it's ok-- you'll be back on track in no time!! Best wishes for a "speedy recovery" LOL!
