Default Turtle Burgers

Just in time for this the BBQ season.

Mmmmmmm bacon........
Handmade ground beef patties, topped with sharp cheddar cheese,
wrapped in a bacon weave.then the next step, add hotdogs as the heads, legs and tail. Next step?

Place on an oven rack, covered loosely with foil and baked for 20-30 minutes at
400 degrees. A little crispy, not too crunchy...just how a turtle
should be, no?

I tried these over the weekend and they were great! I had a little trouble with leaking cheese, but other than that, it was really good.

What kind of seasoning did you use? I usually use regular seasoning for meatloaf rather than a mix. And did you do the egg white or whole egg? Just asking because I might be trying this one soon.

I used McCormick meatloaf seasoning, which is what I use when I make a regular meatloaf, and I used just the egg white because I was worried that if I used a whole egg it would be too wet - I didn't have any parmesan cheese to compensate for that.

Thanks...I'll have to pick up some of that McCormick's. I always have parmesan on hand, though!
