I have found sugar free syrups at The Bay and also at the Second Cup. The flavours are abit limited, but still available. We used to be able to get DaVinci syrups here at the Urban Fare market, but they closed down.

The Carb Option brands are on sale everywhere here. I heard they are going out of making that brand name and that's why they're on sale everywhere. Anyone else heard this? I bought a few things here, but I found that most of the ones on sale were out of date or very close to being so! Check those labels!

I'm pretty sure it's because of the labelling law that is going into effect. Isn't that ridiculous? Health Canada doesn't like low carb products, so some pencil-pusher decides we're not allowed to have sugar-free ketchup and stuff. Thanks, feds.

I also seen the Carb Options stuff at a Dollarama store for a buck apiece.

As for low carb tortillas and davinci syrups, here's an online canadian store:

The Atkins Tortillas are available at Loblaws. I will definitely check out Second Cup for Da Vinci syrups. What do you use these for?

I use the Davinci Syrups in hot drinks and in the summer for iced sodas with a bit of cream (ice, club soda, a fruit Davinci, and a small shot of half and half), also to perk up a protein shake or an a berry dessert.
THe work out great in ultra low carb baking as well but begin to add up.
My favorites are Gingerbread, Chocolate, Raspberry and French Vanilla.

Second Cup carries Torani's syrups - which are pretty much the same as Da Vinci's Syrups. These syrups are also great mixed with cottage cheese, plain yogurt, on toasted nuts (e.g. a splash of caramel and a pinch of salt on pecans...toast in a buttered skillet = mmm praline!) and to make heavenly cream cheese frostings for any LC cakes that you might fancy...there are a LOT of threads about this product!

I picked up some really nice sugar free syrups at Home Sense. Got a chocolate and an Irish Cream. Love the Irish Cream in coffee! They also had Hazelnut, Vanilla and severa other flavors. They were $6.99 for a 750 ml bottle and sweetened with Slenda. Great for an Italian soda. 1 part syrup to 6 parts Soda water. Add ice and top with 1 part heavy cream. Yummmmmmm

Default The Low Carb Grocery

Hi everyone:

Found this info (below) on another thread (Canada) and wondered if you knew about this, or had seen the thread, apparently, this store has Davinci Syrups (Chai Tea and English Toffee), and Shirataki noodles.

Cheers, Paula

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There is a store in Toronto on Yonge St. just N of Lawrence - The Low Carb Grocery.
They have an on-line store and ship across Canada.
Same here.
I usually order flatbreads/etc. from Low Carb Grocery but would love to find a local supplier.
