My (not quite entire) list:

Drops (A no fat food!). I could eat boxes of them, and never get full. I finally made it a policy never to start eating them unless I'd already had a real meal, so there would be something to tell me I was full.

Twizzlers (A low fat food! boasts the packaging). They are disgusting, and leave a distinct petroleum - oily aftertaste, but somehow I developed a taste for the Watermelon flavor, and could polish off a giant bag of the things in 15 minutes. My mouth always burned for a few hours afterwards.

Cheesecake Factory Cheesecake. Two pieces, always. I once bought a large one for a work function, which was cancelled, so I ate the entire thing over three days as my only food. I wonder what that thing did to my blood sugar.

My favorite meal: Nacho Cheese Doritos or Lime flavored Tostitos, sometimes both, some sour cream, then go to Taco Bell and get a couple of half pound bean burritos. Open the burritos up and use the bean mixture inside as a dip for the tortilla chips. Throw out the tortilla; the important thing is the crunchy tortilla chips and yummy bean mixture.

I have few cravings for any of this stuff any longer. Every once in a while I'll think faintly of cheesecake, but that's about it.

My absolute favorite and what I would take to a deserted island is fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, all warm and gooey, and mashed potatoes smothered in gravy. I could eat both till I puke and have probably done so many times in the past. I used to actually have "side-dish" night for dinner quite often. That's when you skip the protein and just eat side dishes, like macaroni & cheese, mashed potatoes, stuffing and rolls and that was the meal. Followed naturally by about six chocolate chip cookies.

I hear ya!!! First thing I used to do if DW and DS were going to her moms for a week during summer break, was to stop at the store and get a bag of Oreos. If Daddio Mike chimes in here, he'll be glad to see I'm talking about the OFS measurement (Oreo Finger Span = # of Oreos you can grab between your middle finger and thumb). Its a very scientific nerdy engineer type of measurement!!!

Man, Im glad I dont do that computation anymore!!!

Man all of this brings back memories and makes me wonder how my body has survived all of it. The warm gooey chocolate chip cookies will be visiting me next week because my son has requested that I make them for his birthday snack at school. He specifically asked that they be really soft and gooey in the middle. The mashed potatoes and gravy, I survived on during pregnancy....funny now my oldest will not touch them and never has!!

An entire pie.

It was awful. I would finish it off within an hour of buying it and then still be hungry. Also, a 2 ltr bottle of Coke with lunch.

plain nachos -- a plate of tortilla chips covered in FAT FREE ( I must laugh at myself) refried beans and a half pound of shredded mexican cheese -- each chip dipped in LOW FAT (hahahaha!!!!) sour cream. If I was in a "sweet place" (which thankfully didn't come very often), I'd want Snackwell's vanilla sandwich cookies dipped in fat free vanilla pudding cups... oy.
d.
