Yes. Hashimoto's is very common. Iodine deficiency is becoming an issue again too. Both cause hypothyroid.

Noticed a new book on order at our library:

Hashimotos Thyroiditis: Lifestyle Interventions for Finding and Treating the Root Cause, 2nd Edition by Izabella Wentz.

Author is often interviewed by the on-line summits, including the upcoming thyroid one starting Oct 24th lead by Dr. Amy Meyers.

Also, Diane SanFillippo's new 2nd Edition of Practical Paleo is on order, and that has thyroid diet 30 day meal plans, nutrients, etc.

Both good resources.

As I was checking every link, I know they are old, most links are broken. Does anyone have updated websites for these resources, or new resources??
