Thanks for the continued reassurance that I'm not going to break, fall off, crash, ruin, or destroy the C'Dale. Though I'm not sure I believe you. I still feel way out of control. I miss my mtb where I can bounce around and skid to stops. I am looking forward to the day when I feel comfortable in the C'Dale saddle. And hoping to God that I don't fall off it or crash before then.

Anyway... got some miles in today. Don't know how many because I don't have my cyclocomputer yet. I ordered a setup that I can use with my current computer and add a "bike two" to the computer. That should be coming in the mail in a couple days. Not as many people around on the path today so it was a little better. Still felt squirrley and awkward. Also didn't get in for a fitting today because the fitting guy left at 1pm and I couldn't get in before then. Maybe Thursday if he's in then.

Hi exercise log! I haven't been posting here but I have been exercising. I've been going to the Y on rainy days and trying to get out on the new bike on sunny days. The bike is getting a little more comfortable. I'm thinking of giving up the thought that I will ever like it as much as my mountain bike.

Time to dust off the old gym log and get it going again. Along with my big butt!
I've been back on plan a week with a reward of 9.8lbs off. I exercised twice during last week... one day was a half hour on the bike trainer (heck of a workout). And the other was a half hour on the treadmill today. I alternated walking a minute and running a minute. Made me a big old sweaty mess.
So tomorrow it's back to the YMCA! But I'm going to a different Y. Mainly because it's closer to home and also because I'm embarrassed to show my face at the same place after so much time.

Further details to come....

Crap... I keep forgetting this log is here. My plan to go to the Y was killed by a car shortage at the end of last week. But I've been making good use of the treadmill in the basement. And have become reaquainted with the stability ball.
Friday... 40 minutes on the treadmill. 5 minute warm up, 30 minutes run a minute/walk a minute alternates, 5 minute cool down.
4 sets of 15 crunches on the stability ball.
Monday... 40 minutes on the treadmill. 5 minute warm up, 30 minutes run a minute/walk a minute alternates, 5 minute cool down.
4 sets of 15 crunches on the stability ball.
Today is Tuesday and I'll probably do the same.

I will start incorporating lifting into the mix after I drop some more weight with just the cardio.

Where did I leave off?

Wednesday... Tae Bo video (GO BILLY BLANKS!!! LOL!) and 2 minutes on the treadmill.
The typical 60 crunches in the same old way. 4 sets, 15 reps on the stablility ball.

Today (Thursday)... a rushed workout... 20 minutes on the treadmill and 15 minutes on the bike trainer.

I had to ease up on the running. I think it's bothering my knees. I think it's just too much weight (all mine) landing on the knees. I will try it again when my weight is lower. But for now the treadmill is all walking fast.

Today was week 3 weigh in. I am down another 2.6 lbs. That's 14.6 total in 3 weeks.

Wednesday night... I've been exercise free since Friday due to illness. Well... I was sick over the weekend and have been too chicken to exercise for fear of returning chest pain.
I will do the treadmill for 45 minutes tomorrow. May just take it a little slower than normal.

Finally made it back to the Y today. YAY for me. I only did cardio. I plan on restarting my lifting program when I get below 200lbs. I went to a different Y... it's closer to my house, more convenient. And my membership is good at this one as well. Plus I don't have to see my trainer and suffer through the "Where have you been?" interrogation. LOL!

Monday... 45 minutes treadmill
Tuesday... 45 minutes treadmill
Wednesday... 45 minutes treadmill
Today (Thursday)... 30 minutes treadmill
30 minutes eliptical thing.
